On the recent thread entitled "Cardale tweets about adversity," there were many comments, greatly supported, such as "He's a Buckeye; I'll always be in his corner," "He's a human being; I can't imagine how that feels [when some in the crowd were chanting "JT JT JT"]," and "I'm a proponent of dignity and respect," and "he was giving his all."

So how is it not ok to bash Cardale (I agree that it's not), and not care about his dignity, and support him just because he's a Buckeye, but it IS ok to bash Joe Bauserman?  Sure, he was a little short on talent (and coaching too, truth be told), but do we not believe he gave his all? Was it because Cardale led us to a national championship while Bauserman merely led us to a victory over Akron? Does his minimal achievement make him less a Buckeye?

I'm just asking...
