I would love to simply say, "keep it classy" or "stay positive", and leave it at that. Unfortunately, there are those out there in social media that have resorted to disrespecting our student athlete, football players. As a teacher of college students and a former coach, i feel compeled to address this shameful phenomenon.

I believe it is our responsibility, the true scarlet and gray of the fanbase, to call out and silence all of those who would take to disrespecting our players. There are a multitude of reasons why this petty behavior is just plain wrong. These fake fans are a disgrace and an embarrassment to Buckeye Nation and are neither mature enough nor worthy enough to call themselves fans of tOSU.
