So, a VT fan mentioned in another thread yesterday or the day before (as others have as well), that no one will keep Ohio State under 40pts this year. When you think about the defensive minds this offense have shredded over the last year (Dantonio/Narduzzi, Saban/Smart, Foster/Beamer), it's not a stretch at all. Who's left? Chavis, Muschamp, Chizik? Has Urban ever had this much firepower before? To me, what separates this offense to what he had at Florida is the passing game. Tebow put up good passing #s, but his arm never struck fear into the opposition the way Cardale and JT have. What separates this offense from the other high scoring offenses across the country today (Oregon, TCU, Baylor, etc.) is the power run game that the offense is based on. When things get tough, they can run it 40 times seemingly at will.
I hate being this optimistic, because S*** happens.
EDIT-Evidently Hawaii can keep them under 40.
EDIT #2-also NIU-I'm here to eat my crow.
