This would have made for some great story lines, whether you're a fan of former Ohio State coach turned university president Jim Tressel leading his new school into Columbus or the former Nebraska coach Bo Pelini tussling with the Buckeyes again, this would have made for some great television. Things didn't work out that way and we will instead feast on a pre-B1G schedule of Virginia Tech, Hawaii, Northern Illinois and Western Michigan before beginning conference play.
