I just wanted to post this classic meltdown from Michigan State head coach John L. Smith from a game against the Buckeyes in the Shoe from the 2005 season. I was watching this game on the Tube with my spouse who is a big Spartan fan. She was not happy as I was jumping for joy. I also hope that it helps break up your boredom from a long off season.
With the Spartans already winning by a score of 17-7 and time running out in the first half, MSU lines up for a field goal in an attempt to stretch the lead to 20-7. What happens next is absolutely priceless as Ashton Ybouty goes the distance the other way for a momentum changing TD at the break. OSU went on to win this game that year.
Thoughts?
