We all know how the Sugar Bowl ended on that last play when Blake Sims was intercepted by Tyvis Powell to secure Ohio State's sweet 42-35 victory over Alabama and thus, the end of an SEC myth. What I want to draw attention to is on that last play of how disciplined the secondary was, and give a major shout-out to Coach Ash and Coach Fick on the superb coaching over the entire season. It was never more evident than on the slow-motion replay of that Hail Mary.

If you watch the replay here, notice the space/separation between the Buckeye defenders and the two Tide receivers. Also notice Grant and Perry (LB's) down there as well. Now turn your eye to the referee standing on the goal line watching that play like a hawk, looking for any possibility of an interference call. There is NONE. It is amazing with that many players going after one ball, that NO CONTACT was made with those Alabama receivers. I think it's a testament to the superb coaching. If an interference call is made, that game does NOT end and Alabama most likely gets the ball at the 2-yard line with a chance to tie or go for the win.

Also just a quick hat tip to see Armani Reeves in on that last play.

Thoughts?
