The other day, I was researching the story behind Ohio State choosing the colors "Scarlet and Gray".  I found that for the first 8 years of Ohio State's existence, they used the colors "Orange and Black".  In 1878, the student council decided they needed to change colors because Orange and Black were already used be a college (Princeton used them first).  They selected "Scarlet and Gray".  To my horror, I realized that if Princeton had chosen another set of colors, we would be stuck with Orange and Black...let that thought sink in...Orange and Black.  I'm not an 'Orange' person.

My question to you is: If another school, like (heaven forbid) TSUN for example, had chosen "Scarlet and Gray" before Ohio State, and you had to choose the replacement colors, what two colors would you chose?
