With the recent feud between Florida and LSU for the title of DB U I was wondering which school everyone thought produced the best talent at each position. I tried not to wear scarlet and grey glasses when making my own.
(apologies if this is a duplicate I checked and didn't see anything)
QB U-USC
Had some great college quarterbacks over the past 10+ years with Palmer, Leinart, Sanchez, Barkley, and now Kessler.
RB U-Wisconsin
As much as I was tempted to put down Ohio State I remembered all the great running backs they have had over the years. Dayne, Bennett, Calhoun, Hill, Clay, Ball, White, Gordon, and probably Clement
WR U- Miami
Great WR's over the past 20+ years with greats like Irvin, Moss, Johnson, and Wayne.
O-Line U- Michigan (unfortunately)
Pains me to admit, but they have been stacked with O-Line talent since 2000 with guys like Backus, Hutchinson, Long, and Lewan.
TE U- Notre Dame
Fasano, Carlson, Rudolph, and Eifert
D-Line U- LSU
Dorsey, Jackson, Montgomery, Ferguson, and Mingo
LB U- THE Ohio State University
A.J. Hawk, Bobby Carpenter, Vernon Gholston, James Laurinaitis, Andy Katzenmoyer, and Ryan Shazier etc.
DB U- LSU
Peterson, Claiborne, Mathieu, Landry, and Reid
Just let me know what you guys think!
