Ohio State's win over Oregon in the first ever College Football Playoff was historic in its' own right because it was the first of its' kind ever played. The term "undisputed" champions also arose as a result of games being decided on the field of play, as it should be. However, did you realize that there was also ANOTHER historic achievement that came about as a result of that plastering of the Duck's?

We all know that Nick Saban has won four (4) national titles at Alabama and LSU in 2003, 2009, 2011, and 2012. Saban's titles, though he has one more overall than Meyer (4-3), were all won in the SAME conference, the SEC.

With Ohio State's victory over Oregon, Urban Meyer is the ONLY coach in FBS history to win national titles in TWO (2) different conferences at Florida of the SEC (226, 2008), and Ohio State of the Big Ten. (2014)

"Meyer, who's now an incredible 38-3 in three seasons at Ohio State, has not only taken home college football's top prize at two different schools, but he's also done it in two different conferences."

NOBODY else can make that claim.
