Since I coach football I'm curious. As you may already know, when Ash came over last summer our base defensive scheme changed. We went away from the 4-3 under look and played with stack front with a walk-out SAM in the alley. Grant and Perry were stacked inside at the MIKE and WILL, and Lee was the SAM. My question is, had Shazier came back for his SR season, where do you think he would of played. Would he have stayed inside and towards the boundary at the WILL, or since he was so athletic, would they have moved him out at SAM and played out of the box towards the field side? What would have been more beneficial? Please no ignorant responses. This is chalk talk.
