I know he gets a lot of slack and people constantly mention him in a negative light. But, without Alex Anzalone OSU wouldn't have won the National Championship. Because of Anzalone's decommitment early in the process, we were still able to recruit some top talent. There was Trey Johnson, Mike Mitchell, and this little known quarterback from New Albany named Darron Lee. Originally, Lee was thought of as a kinda hybrid safety-linebacker. He was too small for linebacker but had some question marks at safety. With a void still at linebacker, Luke Fickell and some of the brilliant coaches on the team decided to move Lee to a full-time linebacker. Even though he was snubbed from many post-season awards, we know how he turned out. He even killed a man in the Navy game. Also, Mike Mitchell may be gone but he is bringing us high 4-star talent Mickey Mitchell on the b-ball court. So, with that said, I would like to give a special thanks to Alex Anzalone.
