The national media (and some Duck media & fans) have taken umbrage with our last touchdown with over two minutes left. 

Besides this just being the complaints of losers & haters, I actually thought we NEEDED to score to put the game away.

We were up by two scores. Oregon can score fast. Let's da they got the ball back & scored. Now you're in an "onside kick" scenario where there's potential to get injured and of course, lose possession and risk them scoring again, trying the game.  Think MSU/Baylor or Wisky/Auburn.  It's possible.

We needed to be three scores up...Just so happens it was a touchdown. Had Zeke not scored, Urban would have kicked a field goal and we'd have one 38-20 (Tressel's prediction).

Now, there is so much irony in OREGON fans and media people who LOVE style points complaining about "running up the score." They loved Oregon mercilessly trouncing FSU (who didn't?)!!! But we score to put ourselves up 3 scores over the most prolific, fast paced offense in the nation...and we are terrible?! Hypocritical haters.

Anyway...still super happy about this team and all it accomplished.
