I'll gladly admit that I was wrong about Ohio State. It not only deserved its place at the big-boy playoff table, it devoured everything in its sight. There's always an appreciation for those reaching a level of superiority thought to be unattainable. And there aren't enough adjectives to justly describe the coaching job Urban Meyer did in the Buckeyes' final three games, with a third-string quarterback making his first three career starts.

In three straight games, Ohio State destroyed the Big Ten runner-up by 59 points and handily defeated the two premier programs (Alabama and Oregon) in the two premier football conferences (SEC and Pac-12).

There's no such thing as too much praise for what the Buckeyes accomplished.
