With the game looming a mere 9 hours from kickoff now, I am having an almost out of body experience.  I wouldn’t call it over confidence or cockiness, but rather an overwhelming calmness about this matchup and game.

I am the guy that is constantly nervous, getting myself worked up to the point of nausea at times in the days and hours prior to kickoff.  I’m struggling to pinpoint exactly why I have this feeling at the moment.  It may be because on paper, I like the way OSU matches up.  It may be because OSU just handed Bama a L in their backyard in SEC country.

Regardless, I have a calmness going into this game tonight.  In all honesty, I didn’t feel this way in the last two championship games against Florida and LSU while I did, and was one of the few, that felt OSU had a real good chance to “shock” the world against the “U” in 2003.  

Help a brother out, anyone else feel this way right now?
