Managed to bask in the glorious victory glow for a few hours without mentioning it, but I'm surprised I don't see any topics on this. After Elliott's late touchdown run, the camera clearly showed him signaling that he should be substituted for the XP, pointing to his thigh. Then, when OSU got the ball back, they either had empty backfields or Curtis Samuel in at RB.
I think it's clear he was injured, maybe a slight quad pull? My best guess for lack of any other info is that he felt a twinge, maybe an actual "pull", possibly of his quad.
I assume he was kept out of the remainder, hopefully only as a precaution, but my fear is that muscle pulls like this are easily re-aggravated, and he won't be 100% for Oregon.
Anyone have any info or thoughts?
PS- Great day to be a Buckeye!
