Tyler Green has committed to Indiana less than a week after decommitting from tOSU.
So the question is, does this mean the decommitment was not a mutually agreed upon parting of ways, and he actually was pushed out of the class by Weber's commitment or is Indiana now flipping recruits from tOSU?
As for my opinion, I don't have any problems with managing a recruiting class by trading up, trading for a place of need by losing a kid at a position of luxury as long as the kid is convinced to go elsewhere instead of directly pulling his scholarship offer. That is how the system works and the successful coaches are the ones that push the boundaries. If this shouldn't be part of the system, then the fix would be to add an early signing period.
Hopefully this sparks a little conversation, because I'm interested in hearing other's thoughts.
