There is a ton of talk every single year about the way Saban prepares for big time bowl games and how he is the best in the business. Add in that Jones is a new QB making his 2nd start, and that there can be crazy blitzes he's never seen before, and you have to be a bit nervous.
My question is, how much faith do you have in the defensive coaching staff to prepare Jones for this?
Fickell has been around the block as we know, and learned from one of the best. Ash was at Wisky last year so he was at least able to play Bama once, to kind of get a feel for what Cooper can do in the least. How much can our DCs help out our offensive coaches in that room coming up with crazy blitz packages or pressure schemes to make Jones more comfortable when they inevitably come from Saban and Smart?
