Just came across this story via NBC Sports College Football Talk regarding a conference initiative to standardize/bring uniformity to concussion treatment.
Looks like a subject of emphasis by the Big Ten Council of Presidents/Chancellors following the treatment of Shane Morris, where the conference will now mandate member schools to have an independent, neutral, athletic trainer in the replay booth of football games.
I'm sure there will be some wrinkles to smooth out, but I think this is a positive response to raising, and implementing, concussion treatment awareness.
