Someone with more CFP/football smarts help me with this: to help our chances of getting in the top 4, is it better for Baylor to win or lose today?
Initially, I assumed a Baylor loss would weaken the perception/SoS of TCU, who seems to pose the biggest threat to us...
But then I also thought that if Baylor wins, in the eyes of the selection committee, this might give the nod to Baylor over TCU since they won the head-to-head matchup. We've heard that discussed some, but it's interesting because if they do value that and give the nod to Baylor, would they realistically jump up 2-3 spots to make it in? If FSU wins, and WHEN we win, I can't decide if our chances are helped by a Baylor win or loss...but I'm actually leaning towards a WIN being better for us.
