Almost famous

Kiper: Dean Marlowe, S, James Madison

I watched Marlowe in his first game of the season, a loss to Maryland, and he stood out as a guy who belonged at a major program. At 6-foot-1 and 200-plus pounds, he offers a ton of versatility. On Saturday in an FCS playoffs loss to Liberty he was playing in the box and making plays in the run game. But he'll also play well back in space, closing on the balls in the passing game and making plays. He's also a return man and the ball skills are really evident there -- he also has four INTs in the past two games despite working near the line a lot.

He's just a good all-around safety and could come off the board in the fifth or early sixth round.

Thought it was interesting to see one of Withers' players getting some draft love.  Granted, this guy is a senior and Withers inherited him, so take it with a grain of salt.  I'll take Chris Ash any day.
