Disclaimer: Apparently I am very unfamiliar with the triple option
Been doing some reading on Georgia Tech's chances versus Florida State (which are apparently not bad but also not good), and I came across the comment that players from elite schools look down upon the triple option offense (specifically Georgia players) and think it is high-schoolish, which didn't make sense to me. Any effective offense is a good offense. Anyone have an explanation?
Also why isn't more triple option worked into other offenses, especially with the kind of backs we have, Cardale, Zeke, and Jalin seem perfect for it.
