When we look at the roster at the end of the year and the obstacles this team has had to overcome, we have to ask: How important has our depth been this year?
Unbelievably Important.
I'm not looking at a simple injury where Braxton Miller is out for a quarter or a game, and Kenny Guiton needs to fill the gap for a short period of time: We've had some big areas where younger or inexperienced players have had to step up and perform.
1. JT Barrett in for Braxton (And now, Cardale Jones in for JT Barrett)
2. Noah Spence suspension
3. Carlos Hyde to the NFL, opening up the Stable of Backs for #15 and #4 to get solid reps
4. Dontre Wilson with a broken foot: Enter Jalin Marshall.
This is a tribute to the Coaching Staff and recruiting, in my mind, especially with the adversity that the Buckeyes will have to overcome late in the season. Your thoughts?
