Without the trusty leg of former Buckeye, Drew Basil (90% accuracy in 2013), we have all seen the lack of production from our kicking squad headed by the fellow German, Sean Nuernberger. He is a horrific 10 of 16 field goals this season with two of those misses coming from the VT game that could've played out a lot differently with an extra 6 points on the scoreboard down the stretch. His production is so less than mediocre I wonder why Kyle Clinton or even Cam Johnston haven't gotten a chance at place kicker yet. All in all, Sean needs to be gone. Whether its recruiting a better one or developing internally (Clinton or Johnston). Sean has missed more field goals this season (6) than Robert Aguayo has in his 2 years at FSU (4). Aguayo was 21 of 22 last season as a redshirt freshman and is currently 21 of 23 this season. And even though Aguayo is one of the best kickers in the country, that is still no excuse for Sean Nuernberger.
