Does anyone else sense a little irony in college football this year? It's the first year of the playoff. We've all been begging for it. It's finally here. And it's bittersweet. 

We've always wanted a clear way to put the best teams in the field, and let them fight it out. This year, we have two undefeated teams. It's still early, but that's pretty clear. There's a slim chance a 2-loss team gets a crack at an undefeated team in the playoff. Is that really right?

With my Scarlet glasses on, this is great. It gives us a chance. It's just a little weird that the BCS would (currently) give us a clear championship game.
