The Media (BTN, 97.1, cleveland.com, mlive.com ,etc.) has been blowing up this topic recently; MSU is currently our "real" rival because they are more competitive than tTUN.
This seem ludicrous to me. A rivalry does not form simply due to a team beating you a couple times in the last few years. A rivalry is something with 100+ years of history. It goes deeper than current standings. Hell, we are 14-4 since I was born (1991) against MSU so it's not like this series has ever been all that competitive. They just beat us in a game that meant a hell of a lot. In my mind, does not a rival make. Thoughts?
