As long as division 1 college football has no true playoff, ESPN & SEC bias and love fest will continue and it will continue to hurt recruiting for most other schools other than those with top brand recognition.

There is no going back now that this kind of money is involved.  We need to GO FORWARD to an 8 team playoff w/these rules.

All power 5 conference champs get an automatic berth PROVIDED THEY WIN A CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYOFF GAME.

The remaining 3 slots taken by the best of the rest PROVIDED THEY've at least WON THEIR DIVISION.  

Possible addition: home field advantage to the higher seed. Not sure about that, though. ESPN would try to ensure SEC higher seed. I'd love to see some of those Southern Teams have to play in inclinement weather. 

The bonus of this is winning your division and league championship mean a whole lot more than they currently do.

Also, it forces a more equal media narrative based on fact, not perception. The best teams win their games and prove it on the field in a playoff, not in ESPN's dream world.

Let's be aggressive and lead this charge.  Only way to beat ESecSPIn is to plow right past them and leave them no option but to report on all of college football.
