This is one of what will be many about Tom Herman's decisions tonight. What the hell was the game plan? I feel like this offense was exactly what we saw in the Clemson game: run the QB, run the RB, and hope the passes connect when we use them on the rare occasion. Just no creativity or adjustments. Hats off to PSU as they made changes and their players played their asses off, but wow, its like Herman just said, "screw it, we'll make their offense beat us instead." As much as people bashed TresselBall, its still here, in a new 'evolved' form. Instead of up the middle, up the middle, incomplete pass punt, its: Shotgun option run, Shotgun option run, crap pass play, punt. On short yardage, he runs out of the shotgun. For over two seasons now, OSU struggles getting short yardage when it needs it (i.e. on 4th downs). If this is the crap we are going to see at Michigan State, we are going to get our asses kicked. Luckily the D stepped up for us, but wow was the offense hysterically bad. #HermanBall.
