Ohio State has not beaten a team ranked in the top 10 at the time that we played them since our 2006 win over TTUN. I heard this disturbing stat on Packer's radio show today. Went back through the previous schedule and we had 8 opportunities to beat a top ten team and lost all of them.
Florida in 2006 - Lost
LSU in 2007 - Lost
USC in 2008 - Lost
Penn State in 2008 - Lost
Texas in 2008 - Lost
USC in 2009 - Lost
Michigan State in 2013 - Lost
Clemson in 2013 - Lost
That doesn't say a lot about the Big Ten obviously. Kind of surprising we didn't have any games against top 10 teams from USC in 09 until last season's B1G Championship game as well.
