Just out of curiosity, what is the ruling for a college player to not have his mouthpiece in? I saw that on replay of the sack, Gunner's mouthpiece was sticking out of one of those holes in the top of his helmet. With there being such a cause for concern on concussions, I thought players had to wear their mouthpiece. Especially when comes to that hit that Bosa delivered. Can anyone clarify if this is a rule or not?
