From Wikipedia:
An H-Back is an offensive position in American football. The H-back lines up similarly to a tight end, but is "set back" from the line of scrimmage, and is thus counted as one of the four "backs" in the offensive formation
This is what I always think when I hear H-Back. I'm not a Redskins fan, but Chris Cooley is who comes to mind. In Urbans offense, the H-Back is a completely different type of player. I know the "Percy" position gets old, but doesn't OSU also use the Pivot position as a name for it? That would be a lot less confusing.
When reading about the new commit Alexander, it gets even more confusing. If you read the update on Cager, he says Alexander is being recruited as an H-back. If you look at Rivals, it lists him as a TE. A traditional H-Back is more or less a TE.
