As for a while getting top level wideouts has been a serious issue in Columbus, the one thing that I was excited about was that there was a QB that was putting the ball in receivers hands and spreading it out giving guys every opportunity to look like stars. This is something that has been missing around the shoe for a while and if Saturday night proved anything to the high school talent watching from the sidelines or the living room its that we are finally ready for real wideouts. We have a ton of athletes and "hybrids" but its time for elite level wideouts to start taking a serious look at the Buckeyes.
The only limiting factor now is that we don't seem to have anyone that can catch consistently that we are actually giving playing time to.
