Not the sexiest of topics, but I am certainly looking forward to the reports from camp on how the kicking competition is going. Hopefully Nuernberger performs well and has ice in his veins on gameday. I would say at Ohio State we have been blessed with very consistent and above average kicking performance in the past decade. Granted we don't seem to have the need to kick as much under Herman offense, but field goals are too many times the difference in a game. I remember 2001 and we broke in 2 new kickers and it was not pretty. Granted a guy by the name of Mike Nugent turned out to be just fine :)
