Ohio State football talk.
Get prepared for the next September Heisman and October National title talk.
Actually it is looking more like practice drills but that will not muffle their talk of greatness.
I speak the truth but I guess that's a foreign language to yall.~~Lil Wayne
Funny quote from one of the announcers...*ichigan feels they have a few Taylor Lewans just waiting to breakout on the offensive line, and when that happens their offense will be unstoppable. You cant make stuff up like this folks.
I tried watching, but I got bored. Those ho-hum announcers about put me to sleep.
Hahaha, in the scrimmage part, Gardner throws a terrible pick on the first play.
Wow man they are going to be lost on offense with having to learn a whole new system and terminology. Their fans think a new OC means instant success and immediate improvement.
Funchess is going to be a nightmare to cover if Gardner can ever get him the ball.
Funchess was not as sure-handed last season, so he will be working on that. Jake Butt doesn't seem to have that problem and will catch a lot of balls this year. The real question is whether some WRs step up now that Gallon and Dileo are gone.
I expect Michigan to be improved on offense this season, although they won't be great, and the Buckeyes will be more improved on defense.
You might have a problem with your prediction....Jake Butt blew his acl/knee out and wont be catching a cold this year.
And not sure how *ichigan losing their 2 starting tackles, starting senior RB,only reliable weapon WR Gallon, and 3rd down WR specialist Dilieo are going to improve all while learning a new offensive system, terminology and playbook. I fully expect them to take a step back.
"All I've known at Michigan is FAILURE"
Michigan's offense is looking really awful. Damn.
When I walked in this morning and saw the flag was at half mast I thought, "Alright, another bureaucrat ate it." but then I saw it was Li'l Sebastian. Half mast is too high. Show some damn respect.

Not much to be excited about when you run for -48 yards against MSU,
must have done another donut give away to get that many people there.
Dustin Fox for the mother fucking win.
Class of 2010.
I know it is Spring practice...but watching this is hilarious.
I cant wait to see this prolific offense roll into South Bend.Of course I will be rooting for the good old Asteroid to hit but if that doesnt happen I see *ichigan getting absolutely pantsed. Thats of course if they can get revenge on old rival Appalachian State first.
I used to pull for ND in the ND - Mich game but I realized their fans are insufferable if they beat TSUN. They seem to think they beat the entire Big 10 by 50 points.
won't be the Gardner show for much longer…will be interesting to see if the young guys can play for them or not. Could really go either way for Michigan this year: Be right in the mix for the B1G till the very end or bury themselves to 4th/5th in the Division.
I will give props where and when I think they are due and the WR Freddy Canteen is going to be a thorn for the next couple of years. He has the ability to blow the top off the D maybe similar to a Manningham.
Someone has to get him the ball though. Between an OL that has no pass pro and a roster of weak QB's it will be a rough 4 years for Freddy.
That was awful. One yard and a cloud of dust? Gonna be a long year in AA.
Good God. They couldn't even move the ball on that broke-ass defense they have.
TSUN should just move Gardner to WR and have Shane Morris develop. Gardner is hopeless at QB.
I think we may see that move made mid season. They need to jump ahead of the curve and get Morris experience now.If he does not start any games this season then they will not be able to take advantage of Braxtons departure after this year and will be in the same boat as us. It just makes too much sense and I believe they are a tad too arrogant to see it.A WR core of Funchess,Gardner, and Canteen would be formidable. Now getting the ball to them and keeping the D out of the backfield may be too much to over come.Gardners mobility may force him to stay back there. Quite a catch 22 our friends up North are stuck in.
That hopeless QB threw for 451 yards and 4 TD's vs OSU.
tOSU had one of the worst passing D's in its history, whats your point? Look what he did in some of the other B1G games against teams of a lot less caliber. Wow he showed up against his biggest rival and came up a point short. We should name a trophy after him.
KJET - while it is funny to laugh at and mock Gardner, you are right, the dude straight up looked like an all-American against us last season. I just threw up a little in my mouth.
Gardner threw for 294 yards and 4 TD's vs. Notre Dame who had the 15th best passing defense.
I could list all the games and ranks of the defenses he played against...but he only had one bad game vs. Iowa....in which he still threw 2 TD's and no picks.
When did I say he should name a trophy after him?
Go back and look at his production. It was pretty solid. My point is.....Gardner is HARDLY hopeless.
Gardner certainly made a lot of poor decisions while under pressure last year. Still, I'm reluctant to rag on the guy after what happened in AA at the end of last season.
The one thing that will not show up in those stats is critical turnovers at critical moments. The kid can be a dangerous QB no doubt about it but he can also just as easily lose you a game with a knuckleheaded decision. He had a lot more then one bad game I can tell you that. I watched him single handily give away the Nebraska,MSU,and Iowa games where his team had a chance and HE blew it.Ironically it was his read and late throw on the 2pt. conversion against us that cost *ichigan the tOSU game too.
Yeah...that is exactly wrong...the play called was a read pass option play, the left side of the field was completely open and if Devin could have run he would have easily scored a touchdown, but when you play half the game with a destroyed ankle that is not an option at all. One thing lost that game, and it was Al Borges' and Brady Hoke's complete fucking incompetence to call a correct play at a critical juncture, let alone change the play when a time out was called. Hence I am elated this is the Jokes last year in AA so we can finally get rid of pizza boy when he makes his run for governor, MSC retires, and we can hire a competent HC unlike the stop gap hoke has been form the very beginning...
Actually it is completely right. It has been broken down by many experts. His fucking fake foot injury happened in the first half. He had the same limp in other games he was losing go back and check MSU,Iowa, and Neb. It was never a run pass option. He had trips to the right all going in different directions but the heat coming and his lack of mobility freaked him out which was pretty standard for him. Yes he either threw it late or threw it to the wrong double covered receiver.Simple as that. Go and make up excuses for the Neb or Iowa or MSU game on horrible plays the dude made. He damn near lost to fucking UConn and akron. He can be one of the best at times but has zero consistency and that is what is more important at QB.Exactly wrong my ass he didn't run or move for shit after his injury but you are going to act like he was supposed to run left on a broken foot because that was the only open spot on the god damned field. Nice try junior.
"His fucking fake foot injury happened in the first half."
Then you go on to say...
"but the heat coming and his lack of mobility freaked him out"
And no...I said he WASN'T going to run, hence the bad play call. Are you illiterate, or completely functionally retarded? Either way, truly sorry.
Can't argue with stupid, so I'm not going to try. Thanks though, "Senior."
Yea you cant argue with facts so your resort to personal attacks...pretty typical for a non-football educated doucher. Yea the fake foot injury they say he broke in the first half of the tOSU game but is clearly showing a limp with the same leg in multiple games before that. As bad as our secondary played last year I cant argue with the play call. I cant see how you are trying to take the blame off of Gardner for throwing to the wrong WR,trying to put all the blame on Borges because he was replaced and that gives you weasels hope.No matter what magical calls you guys think Nuss is going to make you'll still have the problem of who is actually throwing the ball.
Yes non-educated football doucher that played at a high division level in high school, in college, and coaches as well, but you're right...I know nothing.
Truth is I have forgotten more about football than you will probably ever know. Sorry bud.
Than you go on to say...
Are you illiterate,
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
"Erratic" might be a good word to describe him. I could also throw out "enigmatic".
Ever since he put on that ugly 98 he hasn't been worth a dime.
I have a lot of respect for Devin Gardner and his abilities, but I think changing his number to 98 was a bad idea, that's putting a lot of pressure on a guy. Like putting #45 on a Buckeye QB, but you won't see that happen.
Talked with a few UM guys this morning. To say they were less than thrilled would be a terrible understatement. I'm beyond elated.
Disaray and no passion - I'm loving it
And yet, September is still a long way off. They may yet get their act together.
