That's cool with me.

Looking at Braxton's stats, I'd have to say the September Heisman may leave the Mitten State this fall.

Oh snap - Hov - I knew you won't be the first to jump all over that one. Nicely done.

Isn't offseason down time great

First, you mean J. Huerman? And second I think Dontre Wilson will have several breakout games during that span. I believe it could definitely be a break out year for him (And I hate to build the hype). And potentially, Rod Smith could make a bigger impact than expected.

Braxton completing 20+ passes per game and completing 75% seems a bit of a stretch.

Last year, Miller ran for 6.25 yards/carry behind a very effective, senior lead line.  I have a tough time believing that Miller will more than double his rushing yards/carry average playing behind 3.5 new offensive lineman. (Elflein is still green).

I see where you're going though.  You're suggesting that with more experience, more refined ability to read defenses and better pocket presence, Miller will run far fewer times per game but choose more opportune times to run.  But, in college, sack yardage counts as running yards.  Unless you think that the new offensive line won't give up any sacks, that yards/carry average is way too high.

Is this assuming that Brax won't throw a pick?

Also I see Dontre breaking out vs Navy, they really haven't seen a guy like him, and they don't generally play offenses of this type and caliber. I'm thinking by the end of the OOC Wilson will have 4-6 TDs and Miller will have 1 bad game...if I had to guess I'd say Cincy

Wouldn't mind seeing those stats, but I don't see Braxton averaging 14 ypc haha.  Especially with us replacing 4 OL there will be some growing pains early on I think, so sacks will take his average down but who knows.

The line will get better with each practice and game. By mid-season we will be rolling
