Given the turmoil in the program, should Gene Smith make a statement to alert future recruits that we will still be playing basketball next year?  I just think at some point it will be like a run on a bank in 1929, and the bank has to give the public some confidence that it will indeed continue operations.  

Something is going on and the transfers and NBA early entry has to emanate from a common problem.  I haven't read any good info on 11W to address the systematic issues at hand.
