PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
Hopefully this opens the door to get the SEC out of the South occasionally.
Hoping it would say...
+1 this guy^
As far as I'm concerned, ALL SEC nat-championships are mythical. The meteorological advantage enjoyed by the warm-weather teams in the South (as well as the Cali teams in the PAC) mandates revising how the out-of-conference games are scheduled, going forward.
I say, spread out the OOC schedule. Play one game a month.
As Paulie Walnuts would say, "Make sure these warm weather f*c*s come North, in November!"
Diggin' on those wings.

Two blondes were driving to Disneyland. The sign said: Disneyland Left... So they started crying and headed home.
Baby steps. Looks like it will be the opener. Sept 3, 2016.
Great match up, and kudos to both ADs. Balls in your court Gene. Can we get anything better than Hawaii?
In fairness to Gene where would you rather go? Lambeau or Hawaii?
Well, we're hosting Hawaii. Would have been a cool home-and-home series.

Oh, I'd just assumed we were doing a home and home. Nevermind then.
To be canceled in 2014.
Exactly, we can say Wisky is doing something that Gene Smith isn't but MSU just lost the Bama matchup, it will only be a matter of time when LSU cancels too.
In fact, the only teams that have played their SEC matchups have been PSU and UM, both against Bama. Funny that both of those teams also were not really that good then too, but the better matchups of MSU/Bama, OSU/Vandy, OSU/Georgia, OSU/Tenn all were cancelled (and I know there are others but can't think of them at the moment).
I don't think it is a conspiracy but I do think the SEC are ducking the tougher matchups. Not all, but there are enough to wonder.
I saw a UFO once.......it told me to have a goodyear!
We really need to correct this notion that Tennessee and Georgia canceled those games against us... The truth is OHIO STATE canceled those games, not the other way around. (This was discussed recently in another post.) Keep it real, homies.
September 3rd average temperature in Green Bay, WI - high 74, low 57. Not the kind of cold elements people REALLY want to see an SEC school like LSU have to endure. At least they're coming north.
Class of 2010.
Has to be better than Bama-M...igan last year. At least LSU is forgoing a neutral site.
"Success - it's what you do with what you got" - Woody Hayes
Technically it is a neutral site. The idea is that one team won't real all the financial benefits and each team can sell the same number of tickets. Kind of like Bama m*chigan last year in jerry world. Not really neutral, but not in ones home stadium.
Good to see, wish it was in December.
All week long, Meyer preached to his team that he wouldn't pity Buffalo (4--8 in 2012). "I didn't schedule this game," he insisted. "I'm not going to feel bad for them."
Why the he'll would they play at lambeau? I would lose my shit if OSU scheduled a game against bam a in Cincy.
For some reason SEC teams have become allergic to playing at a teams actual home stadium.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
I've noticed that too. Alabama's last two big nonconference games (Virginia Tech, Michigan) were at neutral sites. Now LSU is coming north, but not for a true road game.

Yeah right, Les will find some excuse to back out...
What we can't do in the air we'll do on the ground.
The SEC will "adjust" their schedules and cancel this game.
TTUN fans would rather talk tOSU failures in the past ten years than their own successes. Probably because they haven't had a lot of success.
Beat me to it. If LSU is up and Wiscy down they will keep the game. If it's the other way around the schedules will get adjusted.
The harder you work, the harder it is to surrender. - Woody Hayes
Let's hope this continues throughout the next decade and beyond.
And Wisconsin to an actual non-conference schedule.
LSU generally travels, but the other schools not so much.
Wisconsin will still manage to fit in 3 FCS schools though.
Pokud si můžete přečíst to pak budete mít zlatou hvězdu na den!
At least Urban and the Buckeyes will get lei(d) in Hawaii.
*this is Manti Teo's fake girlfriend.
Les Miles hasn't taken a team vote yet on the game. Will be canceled soon
Only after they check the weather and travel conditions. The one thing we have to understand is when their starting QB has to sit for one play (team self-discipline) for robbing a local 7-11 things will be open for change and they may still back out!
Great venue & very cool setting for the game. Not a bad seat in the house at Lambeau. Every real football fan should go take the tour...incredible tradition. Hallowed ground like the Shoe...
