I'm trying to decide the most beneficial outcome in today's Wisconsin vs. Northwestern matchup. It seems that no matter what happens, it will in some way devalue one of Ohio State's quality wins, but what minimizes that impact? Wisky already has two losses and is a borderline top-25 team, so you'd have to think a third loss would drop them out of that range altogether. Our best win this season, by far, is NW on the road, and we may not have another opportunity for that type of quality win for the rest of the year. If they lose 2-3 games, that effectively detracts any value from that win. At this point, I'm thinking that a narrow Wisconsin win today is of the greatest benefit, as it would likely push UW back into the top 25, with Northwestern being right in the 24-25 range, or at least having the chance to move back up in a week or two. Thoughts?
