PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
he looks like a fine athlete.
Definitely. OSU would score 100 on these teams.
defenses look a couple steps slow, probably why they are bottom half of their conference.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa...you're telling me these SEC defenses aren't elite?
They're so incredibly elite that your eyes can't keep up, thus why they sometimes appear not to be elite.
Not a chance! These are SEC defenses we're talking about! These offenses are so damn good the defense just can't contain. Ohio state would stand no chance!
I came here just to congratulate Way. Although I have always been one of his supporters.
Also what happened to the vaunted SEC defense? Looks like a Big 12 game right now
Jessie Palmer is out of his mind talking about Prescott being better than Tebow. Love him or hate him he was one of the best college qb's of all time.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm watching Marshall-Middle Tennessee State in protest of the SEC having a crap load of night games this season. I have to wonder if "the SEC needs this" according to Gary Danielson.
Dustin Fox was our leading tackler as a corner.... because his guy always caught the ball.
When we played Marshall on Thursday I thought it felt awkward, they can have Thursday.
I organize my entire year around the fall, my entire fall around Saturdays and my entire Saturday around the Bucks.
Anything else is a disturbance in the force.
Gary probably thinks that America needs these SEC night games.
It's his first TD of the season, let's calm down now.....
That pulls him even with Dontre, who I am excited about.
As am I. Nothing against Timmons but he hasn't done close to enough this season for me to form a solid opinion about him positive or negative. Personally I just thought I was done seeing posts about him on here.
2nd TD and over 325 yds receiving and 100 yds rushing
He lives! I haven't heard from you in a while.
Thanks CC. He is a freshman and will make mistakes. Especially with their schedule. They will be better next year.
An angry fan...rooting for an angry team...led by angry coaches
Been a while Cajun
Dude, you don't call. You don't write. You rarely post.....just messin', good to see you back on the block.
Easy there on the schedule excuse. Kentucky plays two tough defenses this year (Alabama and Florida). We've all seen these SEC defenses giving up tons of points/yards this year, so Timmons should have ample opportunities to produce (especially against WKU, Miami (OH), and Alabama State).
I'd love to see either of these two teams tonight playing at Bowling Green, Ball State, Buffalo, or Northern Illinois tonight. We'd be witnessing the SEC going down to the MAC on national television.
You're right *2nd TD. Saw the 1TD stat on ESPN but it didn't include this game.
Couple that with the fact that he plays in the SEC, and that would translate to 1000 receiving yards and 300 rushing yards for the average football player!
I'm surprised he's getting playing time on an SEC team, we all know how deep that whole conference is. UK would probably give OSU a run for their money.
All ridiculous sarcasm aside, good for him, by all accounts a decent dude.
Check out the hs game on espnu... They look like d3 teams.
If Wilson were on Kentucky with the little to no talent they have he'd obviously be used a lot more than what tosu uses him and would be putting up some monster stats for a freshman.
If Wilson picked Kentucky, i'd question his sanity.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Wow! That was football played at it's lowest level. 18 yard sack and a whiff on the snap of the punt. The Wildcats can win this one.
If Timmons were a Buckeye, he'd be a fine receiver on the scout team.
Flipped back to watch part of the game, late in the 3rd quarter, and for a 5 minute stretch, I swear the announcers said "SEC" at least 25 times. I know it's a conference game, but ESPN is going to create a situation where "SEC" becomes a descriptive/catch-all word similar to the Smurfs using the word "Smurfy".
I noticed it too. SEC every other word. They may have set some sort of record....wow.
The world is full of kings & queens who'll blind your eyes & steal your dreams - it's heaven & hell - Ronnie James Dio.
That really smurfs me the smurf off!
"excuse me, while I go to the restroom to take a SEC, and wipe my SEC....."
well I guess it could work, but We Ohio State fans already have the word Michigan, to use, for this situation.
Hey now don't pick on the Smurfs or you Smurf the Smurf off LMAO god do i ever rememeber that show. Every Saturday i would get up go to Mac D's to get breakfest and bring it home and me and the X would set there with my son and watch it .
He had every thing Smurf that was made and his bedroom was done in all Smurf. Those days you never forget with your kids and always have fond memory's when you look back on them and wish you could do them all over again.
Welcome back WAYCRAKEN
Marshall games should be a good ending. Shootout.
That was some terrible football and UK really sucks. They won a game? Against who?
EDIT: Nevermind, I see it was against winless Miami of Ohio.
Just remember. 11 frshmen playing plus Drew Barker will be QB next year. It will get better
It would be really hard to get worse so I'll guess it will probably get better.
It would be really hard to get worse
This is Kentucky we're talking about.
I agree, it can not get much worse, or can it?
I wish we would have signed Timmons o well end of the day I trust the staff best of luck t o him at Kentucky
I can't remember exactly but wans't it between Wilson and Timmons? Because I would take Dontre any day.
Idk what their board looked like and if it was one or the other one who knows we could have taken Clark over him too. It was a bummer we had scholarship restrictions cuz he would have been a great addition to the team.
I watched a few minutes of the UK/MSU game but got tired of the discussion about SEC dominance and whether or not criticism of the SEC is warranted. (FWIW, I agree with the guy that said it is best to judge the SEC after the bowls and all of the OOC games are played. David Pollack maybe?)
I flipped over to Fox Sports and watched a sloppy but entertaining Middle Tennesee/Marshall game. That was the first time I can remember seeing a punter catch a snap while on one knee effectively downing the ball in their own backfield. Even still was an exciting game that came down to a TD on the last play.
I haven't been overly impressed with Fox Sports just yet (IMO the BTN is in better shape right now) but it was nice to have another option. I didn't stop watching the UK/MSU game because of the quality of the football but more the quality of the announcing. It felt like they were spending more time talking about the top half off the SEC than the teams that were actually playing. It was my first time watching either UK or MSU play this season. I would have liked to hear more about the guys that were on the field.
