I just got a hold of the book The System: The Glory and Scandal of Big-Time College Football, by Jeff Benedict and Armen Keteyian, and read through the two chapters about Ohio State. I may post more on this later, but basically it does not portray Gene Smith or Tressel in a positive light at all, while painting Bobby DiGeronimo as a sympathetic figure.
Also started Buckeye Rebirth and it is a great read. For whatever reason I'm not a huge fan of Bill Rabinowitz's writings for the Dispatch, but he does a great job with this book. Well-written and moves along quickly.
