PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
For all you worrying on here ... Georgia, Oklahoma, and Stanford all go down. All in a day's work. Long season. Just win baby!
Yes they are! A Clemson loss next week and Stanford beating Oregon would be even sweeter. I'll take what this week has given us. Just keep winning and the rest will take care of itself!
Born, raised, educated, and will die a Buckeye ~ BuckeyeNation
I'm officially a bandwagon Stanford fan for the remainder of this season
Now we need Clemson, Oregon and perhaps FSU to all lose.
Ahhh, good point about FSU. If they beat Clemson next week - maybe even convincingly - do they jump us in the polls??
unfortunately i think they do, but remember they have UF as their last game as well as (more than likely) a dangerous Miami team in the ACC championship. I think they lose one of those two.
A two-loss ACC team should go in ahead of undefeated OSU.
FSU will jump us once they knock off Clemson. We need them to lose too.
Agreed. this was a good week in football for the Bucks and a big reminder that a) it's nearly an impossibility to go undefeated, and b) there is chaos in the rankings EVERY year in college football.
FSU beats Clemson, Stanford beats Oregon.
This could work out very nicely for us.
The postgame show is brought to you by... Christ, I can't find it. The hell with it...
Or Clemson beats FSU and South Carolina beats Clemson...
If FSU beats Clemson then we need Florida to beat FSU.
TTUN fans would rather talk tOSU failures in the past ten years than their own successes. Probably because they haven't had a lot of success.
or Miami. or VaTech in the championship game, or Miami again in the championship game.
FSU doesn't have a clean run too.
I saw a UFO once.......it told me to have a goodyear!
The dominos are starting to lineup. Next week will be even crazier.
I think we all can relax a bit more with the schedule now. We can rejoice in those we want to lose without having to worry about SoS.
I won't be happy until bama loses. Unfortunately with that schedule it is not likely.
If I had my way, you would be happy around NCG time when Ohio State beats them!
I would rather bama not dirty the Rose Bowl again so am hoping they don't make it.
Bummer. I thought this thread was about Doritos falling from the sky...
Nacho Cheese or Cool Ranch?
Don't forget about Alabama. We don't exactly have a clear path either and could easily lose to LSU or maybe a S Carolina in the SEC championship game (should we beat LSU)
Let's not forget Miami and UCLA could really help us out...Clemson's performance against BC just shows that it's really hard to win every game, I think this weeks results will help entrench us a the solid #3 option. Oregon and Bama look like they have a pretty good hold on their paths to Pasadina!
Wonder if Clemson will drop from looking bad at home against a bad BC team. Nah, we're only held to those standards ... against top 25 teams.
I don't know if Clemson will drop, but I think it's unlikely that they pass OSU in the coaches poll. Two close calls against mediocre teams and a "signature" win over an UGA team that's lost twice and ain't done losing.
Texas A&M getting all they can handle from Ole Miss. TAMU is up 14-7 and Ole Miss is driving.
It's a damn shame our schedule has put us in the unenviable position to hope for others to lose but it is what it is.
and BTW...Eff SCUM...unreliable pricks
but I do enjoy a plan coming together
Just keep winning UFM and then we will be smiling at the end of the year. Let's not get too stressed out - it's a marathon.
Would like to see Bama lose too, but don't want to hurt Bamamike's feelings. So I won't say that.
Two blondes were driving to Disneyland. The sign said: Disneyland Left... So they started crying and headed home.
Haha, I just saw this and that was awesome. I don't take it personally if people want us to lose, it is what it is. As of right now, Alabama is an obstacle in the Buckeye's path. You SHOULD hope we lose
Utah finally getting on track after urban left their cupboards bare..
Let me just leave this here ...
clemson will lose twice b4 its all said and done. fsu is the real worry. especially since they have a hyped up super freshman/heisman hopeful in winston(espn loves that stuff). oregon is the real deal worry tho for similar reasons. crappy part is that bama needs to lose twice just to "maybe" be out of it. uuuuuuugh! we can win out and still be left out. cant wait til the 4 team playoff for this reason exactly.
FSU deserves all the hype they are getting right now. They haven't looked vulnerable ... at all. I don't see Florida even giving them a game ... they can't produce enough offense. Looks like we'll need Miami or VT/Miami in the ACC game. Stranger things have happened to FSU ... like this ...
FSU should stomp the life out of UF in a very bad way. Key word there is SHOULD.
Florida State has been as dominant as anyone this year, with only a bad half vs. Boston College. They have two marquee games left (vs. Miami and UF) and will be favored in both. Could they look past NCSU? Possibly, but I'm not feeling it. I think their biggest obstacle will be in the ACC championship game, just given the pressure to both win and win big (to try and jump Oregon, should they still be undefeated).
Last night's demolition of Clemson, on the road no less, was this year's signature win to date by anyone.
Let me again just leave this here ...
Happens every year ...
Just win baby !!!
Media, you may now shut the fuck up about Baylor.
With Baylor's high-powered offense and stout defense, this game is not out of reach.
Baylor going down quicker than the Titanic!!!
Baylor would have to channel their inner 2012 Indiana to pull this one out....
