This will be the 3rd week in a row that the buckeyes will be facing a team off a buy week which gives the opponent plenty of time to install something new to confuse the Buckeye defense. Wisconsin used passing deep instead of run, Iowa used 3 TE set and play action, what will Penn St have for the good old Buckeyes?!?
Upon reading all week about Penn St great receiver and TE, lack of QB mobility and rushing game, and the Buckeyes desire to bring pressure.. I can already see how this will unfold. My prediction is Penn St will still utilize WR and TE in normal fashion, but the big thing is going to be screen plays and RB draws, both of which OSU has struggled with and very little emphasis has been put on all week. Both type of plays exploit over pursuit and aggressive scheme, while testing fundamental play from LB and secondary support. This game is really going to show the defense maturity and their ability to play fundamental football under control. What "secret weapon or attack" are you worried about? (This being outside the usual response of just pass defense).
