I can't link to the original article because betting sites are blocked here at work, but a Yahoo! article explains that Baylor would be a 7.5 point favorite against Ohio State if the two teams were to play on a neutral field according to one oddsmaker.
I know Baylor's offense has been pretty prolific this season (1st in passing, 2nd in rushing), but the defenses they've played are atrocious... Maybe even worse than the Buckeye's D has been this year. And the offenses they've played have been worse.
And West Virginia (57th passing, 80th rushing) put up almost 400 total yards and 42 points against them.
As bad as the secondary has been for OSU lately, I tend to think that the Buckeyes could make it a little closer.
The oddsmaker mentions that he will inflate Baylor's line every week because the betters have caught on to their offensive output.
