Over on TOS they are discussing the fact that Iowa (and their up-tempo, high powered offense) scored 24 on our Bucks this weekend!
They played 3 TE 's almost the entire game and it's my HO that we can expect to see that from here to the end of the year and in any bowl game we play. Unless and until our LB's demonstrate they can guard a parking meter in coverage it's reasonable to expect all teams will exploit this weakness in coverage.
The late Bum Phillips, God rest his soul, would have 4 TE's and big Earl salivating to play against that weak stuff. With that slow motion, grind it down the field O, they would have scored 50 a game.
Editors note: For those of you born after 1995 - Earl Campbell was one of the hardest running backs to play the game. Someone described tackling El Guapo as trying to tackle an appliance - Big Earl was like a steamroller - slow and with pads about 20 inches off the ground.
P.S. Michigan still sucks!
