I was curious what the record for most yards gained was for an Ohio State team. I found that OSU rushed for 718 yards against Mount Union in 1930, but was unable to locate a total yards number. Anyone have any ideas?
In light of this train of thought I am having while bored at work (which I don't think we will get anywhere close to the 718 yard rushing record), what are people's thoughts on a realistic total yards number for tomorrow?
My guess is we run for 400 yards and throw for 225, bringing total yards to 625. I have a feeling we rest a lot of players (assuming we get up big in the first half) and run the ball a ton in the 2nd half to get out of Saturday healthy. Thoughts?
