First off, let me say that I fully endorse the idea that a good B1G is good for Ohio State. I generally root for other B1G teams in non-conference games, with one notable exception.
I also understand the philosophical argument that a good Michigan team is good for the rivalry, and I agree up to the point that Michigan is actually playing a game against, well, anyone. At that point, I am unable to root for anything other than a Michigan loss.
My question is for those who want Michigan to be undefeated going into the game, either in the name of conference loyalty, or for the sake of the rivalry:
When it really looked like Zippy had a chance to knock off the "mighty" Wolverines, did you, in your heart of hearts, still root for Michigan to win the game?
