PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
i knew the refs would somehow give the game to meechigan.
PLUS, they moved the ball back 1/2 a yard after a review to take away an obvious 1st (and goal) and didn't put the 8 seconds back on the clock. But, I'm sure we won't hear a peep from the national pundits (other than to make excuses about the letdown from an emotional win last week) because we all know "Michigan is back". What a joke.
Just hope that game shuts up the UM fans for a week or two.
Toledo - Ohio's right armpit
"A troll by any other name is still a troll".
yeah, and I was disappointed with the PI call against Akron that gave Michigan the ball at the 2 yard line when they were down. Maybe it really was PI, i don't know, but to me it looked like a great defensive play.
No doubt -- that was NOT pass interference. The Wolverines got some home-town cookin' on that one to help them get the "win".
What are you guys complaining about? There's a good chance we could run the table and be on the outside looking in because our conference is a trainwreck and you want to see UM go down to the Akron effing Zips?
We need TSUN to be as highly touted as possible when we roll them... twice.
Time and change will surely show how firm they friendship... O-HI-O.
I agree, but them losing to Akron would have been priceless.
Rip them for App State or Toledo. This isn't the year, guys.
Ehhh tormenting Michigan over Akron loss would have been worth priceless
He'll yes. I would love to have seen them fall to the Zips and taste their salty tears. For me, it's pretty simple. 1- We just need to win all of our games. 2- Hope scUM loses every game they play from here to eternity. 3- Let the chips fall where they may at the end of the year.
If Oregon and Alabama win all their games... which is every bit as possible as us doing it... it doesn't matter if we win out. The higher ratings that B1G teams receive, the better our chances at moving up in the polls. And yes that means ttun needs to maintain their usual (undeserved) high level of respect from the press. I don't give a rats ass what the press thinks of meechigan. I just want to beat their asses in November, and again the following week. The higher they are ranked, the better it is for us.
If Oregon and OSU both go undefeated:
Oregon quality wins over @Stanford, UCLA, @Washington, @Arizona, and possibly UCLA again in the PAC Championship game (not to mention wins over over Tennessee and Virginia by a margin of 118-24).
Ohio State quality wins over @Northwestern, Wisconsin, @Michigan, Penn State and possibly Nebraska/Michigan/MSU in the B1G champ game.
I would say Oregon's resume will be more impressive resume.
Just win, if other teams go undefeated, so be it. All the more reason to do away with the BCS system. I've been rooting for madness every season. I would like OSU, Oregon/Stanford, Alabama, Louisville, Clemson to all go undefeated.
All I can say with regard to SoS is that if we go 25-0 under Urban Meyer and they don't put is in the national title game and we win our bowl game, in my book we're National Champions. Period. We can't control what other teams do. If we go undefeated for 2 straight seasons in a BCS conference and win our bowl game as well then there's nothing else we can do.
