Kenny G has been absolutely phenomenal and extremely effecient in his time at QB. The 1st week the team gave up 4 official sacks, even more if you count Millers scrambles/runs taken down behind the line. Since that game the team has only given up 1 or 2 sacks, if I remember correctly, with Kenny G in the pocket distributing the ball all over the field and having all the time in the world. This is very telling, shows our O-line is as good as advertised, not to mention we're rushing for like 300 yds a game. Miller hasn't really had anyone to watch and learn from other than Bauserman, and we know what a terrible example he was. I think watching Guiton run the O over the last few games is really going to help Miller become more comfortable with his pocket presence and play progression. He's seen Kenny have record setting performances staying within his abilities and getting the ball to the right guys to make big plays. In the past, it seemed Miller only had confidence in himself to make big plays, hopefully seeing how well Guiton's performed gives Miller confidence in all the other weapons we have at our disposal. I would like to have seen miller get more PT before the Big Ten games start but these "mental reps" Herman has the QBs doing seem to work well, just look at Guiton and even Jones. I think we are in for one hell of a performance from Miller for the remainder of the season and Guiton will be there to help close games if needed. Never felt more comfortable with 2 QBs on the same team than I do with this pair. Anyone think this all helps Miller in the end?
