Apparently a one game suspension is adequate for throwing a punch at another player in the great conference of the ACC. I guess they are taking their disciplinary standards from the SEC. Article is on espn if you need to read. To paraphrase... coach thinks he understands what he did wrong so now they are going to suspend him for one pointless game against wake forest. No word from the NCAA, go figured. I hope the NCAA jumps in here but it wouldn't surprise me if they don't. Last time I remember seeing a punch thrown in game yielded much more than a 1 game suspension. Hell, Hyde was suspended for 3 games for almost, kinda, sorta pushing a woman, not even hitting her. When is the NCAA really going to do its job by governing/disciplining teams in a consistent fashion? Because clearly most universities, SEC and ACC, feel they can do so little that it begs the questions why are they are even pretending to do something of merit.
