I had an issue with BTN this week. Did anyone else notice that the "Big Game of the Week" was scUM vs. Uconn? Why the hell is the game of the week one of our ranked teams nearly getting embarrassed by one of the worst teams in the FBS? Shouldn't the game of the week be a game that makes us not look like morons as a conference?
Our Honor Defend!
Because no other game was even close?
Edit: And I don't think BTN has access to NBC games.
I agree it was slim pickings. At the same time, when one of your highest ranked teams plays piss-poor and embarrasses itself on national television you shouldn't make it the "Game of the week". I'd rather see Iowa score 800 billion points on W Michigan. At least they didn't look like losers.
They don't do non-conference games where the big ten team loses and they want to use the close down to the wire games regardless of who the opponent. Last year OSU vs Cal and OSU vs UAB were both game of the week.
Huge love-fest for Wisconsin on BTN Live tonight...as if Purdue has anything this year. Then they totally ripped TTUN.
Should be playing the BTN conference game this week (Wisconsin v Purdue). To continue to play the TTUN versus UConn and Akron is just playing into the hands of all the B1G critics.
