New here, so I apologize if this has been covered before.
Why is there such a discrepancy in the college football class rankings? I was reading the article about Curtis Samuel and afterwards I was curious as to how Ohio State was ranked in regards to their 2014 class. 24/7 has them ranked #2 behind Alabama, Rivals has them at #7, Scout at #6, and ESPN has them #13. In the same class, Michigan is ranked #8 by 24/7, #13 by Rivals, #10 by scout, & #6 at ESPN. I know that each site gives different weightings to different skills, but I can't believe that the formula would vary that much.
I know that ESPN has to have a bias - seeing as they are in bed with the SEC, but they must have a special kind of hate for Ohio State as they are the only web site I found that has Michigan ranked higher (and not just by a little bit).
